no morning classes today. there was a parade for all the college professors for the opening of the Faculty Sports Fest this year. and i'm also sick. actually, not that sick. i got a cold and my nose is pretty itchy right now. i would want to sneeze but i forgot to bring my hanky so i'm trying to hold it in. the last thing i want to see is slimy stuff coming out of my nose.

i just finished typing the script that reina and i are going to use for our speech class. we're suppose to copy a scene from a movie and re-enact it in front of the class. we chose My Best Friend's Wedding. well, actually, i chose it. reina hasn't seen it yet. i'll give her the dvd copy tomorrow. we're going to do the scene where Julianne (Julia Roberts) and Kimmy(Cameron Diaz) talk in the ladies' room because the latter saw the former kissing the groom (Dermot Mulroney). i'm playing Julianne. i'm still the bitch, in reality and in this part. i don't mind though. hehe. i'm so excited about this. i hope it goes well and that i won't forget my lines coz the minute i stand in front of my classmates, i'm sure i'll get shaky.

oh, and mama texted me this morning. she said her amo gave her a Christmas gift and it was a laptop for me. funny thing was it was the same laptop that she bought last saturday! she couldn't tell him she already got me one coz after all, it is a gift. What she did was she sold one of the laptops to Mama Dillx, her younger sister and my aunt who's also in Canada, because we would have too many computers at home. three's enough (the PC, papa's laptop and mine). it was such a sweet and VERY GENEROUS gesture from her boss. he even told her to tell me to study hard so he could help me find a job in Canada after i graduate. i haven't met him and his wife yet but i love them already!! man, my mom's so lucky she got to work for them.

my mom's a domestic helper, by the way. i'm proud of her! she's so hardworking and selfless. she sacrificed a lot just so she could help my dad raise the family income and send me and my siblings to great schools. man, that's something i greatly admire about her! she's a strong woman and i love her very very much. i can't wait to see her at the airport on the 7th of December. i miss her!
