title: apple bottom jeans. ;P
despite all the stress, people effortlessly make me smile!
judan (singing to himself): "i love you more than you'll ever know.. i love you more than you'll ever see..." me: hoy! gaya-gaya ka ng kinakanta! judan: kapal mo! kaninang umaga ko pa yan kinakanta, habang naglalakad ako sa lacson (ave.). eh ikaw? me: mas nauna ako sa'yo. pagkagising ko! judan : anu yun, pagkagising mo "i love you more than you'll ever know..." (while singing, he closed his eyes, opened them and stretched his arms). me: hahahaha!
---
computer lab.. me: airo, gusto kong gumawa ng tao. (referring to flash presentation) lance: oi! bastoooos! me: bakit??? airo: bastoooos. sa'kin mo pa sinabi ah. me (nagets din): hoy, kapal niyo!
--- anna and i are trying to learn a new song!
"Apple button jeans with boots and a furrrr...."
"Apple boots and jeans with boots and furrr.."
"Apple bottom jeans with boots in a furrr..."
finally, eto tama na..
"Apple bottom jeans.. boots with the furr (furr)" (how do you spell 'furr'? wahahaha!)
(Low by Flo Rida) --- after eating lunch at orange house in asturias st.
me: ate, magbabayad na po ako sa pagkain ko. ate: ano inorder mo? me: porkchop... gulay.. one and a half rice... ate: ano? one and a half rice? me: opo. ate: ano pa? me: bali, yung porkchop po.. yung gulay.. one and a half rice.. tsaka coke. ate: pang-DALAWANG tao ba 'yan? reina: hahahahaha! ehlyu: hahahaha! anna: hahahah! frenie: hahaha! strangers from other table: *smile* ako: ganun ba talaga ako katakaw??? ayoko na kumain ng marami!! ate: ahhh.. akala ko kasi dalawang porkchop yung sinabi mo kasi inulit mo yung porkchop nung tinanong kita ulit.

title: giants and computers.
this is the 3rd consecutive time that i've been assigned to use computer #46 in the library's internet room. coincidence? neh, who cares?!
anyway, i'm a bit bummed that i won't be able to make it to my block mate eunice's 18th birthday party at the coconut palace tonight. majority of the class will go and i'll miss all the fun and the camwhoring and the great, free food and the boy hunting (*cough*). excuse me. haha. problem one, no DRESS and no SHOES. problem two, dormitory CURFEW. problem three, CLASSES tomorrow. airo kept asking if i'll come later and i said i didn't have anything to wear. then he said he'll buy me a dress. then i said shoes, too. all he said was "Tssssss." men, if you are going to offer something, then we, ladies, might as well take advantage of it. haha. kidding!
awwww. what will ever happen tomorrow to me and the other poopers who spent the night watching TV, eating their sick ass food, wishing they went to the goddam party?! neh, it's not that big a deal. i was just playing widyah! :P
by the way, before i forget, let's greet my fellow giant who's waaaaay prettier and hotter than i am, Abigail Joyce Mendoza who just turned 18 today! Happy Birthday, bonjing! haha. love you!
i felt better today after i found out that i got 92 on my comp lec prelim grade. not that i was feeling really awful. it's just that the macromedia flash project we are working on for our final exam drives the hell out of me!! i mean, come on. all the good ideas were already taken and this is the reason why i didn't take a course in journalism or advertising-- because i'm not creative. well, business does require that we be innovative but hello?? i'm not prepared to be innovative yet. please give us some space and more time to widen our horizons. hahaha.
frenie's birthday is on the 24th. her 18th birthday also. it's sad because she still has chicken pox and she won't be attending class until tuesday next week. advance happy birthday, f! (she's also a fellow giant, fyi. haha.)

title: my funny story.
Last night, i slept at 6pm, after eating my foot-long hotdog sandwich, because i planned to wake up at 8 so i could start studying for the tests the next morning. i was munching on my food, thinking, "hmm.. tastes good." [OKAY! it's irrelevant to the real issue. forward, please!] and so, i set my phone alarm and dozed off. ZZZzzzzzzzzz.... the next thing i knew, i heard a familiar voice saying, "See, here's the thing: we have to take our clothes off! We have to party all night. We have to take our clothes off... to have a good time. Oh, no, no, no!" It was the alarm. I checked the time and saw '8:13pm'. I slept again because I thought I would wake up after 20 minutes but apparently I didn't. It was already 10:05 when I opened my eyes. the first thing that popped in my head was, "Shit! Sarado na yung gate ng dorm. Hindi pa ako nakakain!" It was really hilarious when it eventually sank in. Evidently, I was scared to go hungry! The whole night, I was worrying about food and my angry tummy. It was almost 1am when I decided to come down from the top bunk of the bed and look through my things inside my cabinet. And, my effin' shit, it was as if my prayers were answered-- two Bingo chocolate biscuits were hiding in my supposed to be empty FunChum box. The angels were singing. It was brighter in heaven! Exagg naaaa. haha. To make my long story short, I was happy and so was my tummy!
The End. ;P

title: movies galore!
on my MUST-SEE list:
1. P.S. I Love You - starring the phenomenal Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) and the buffed 'Spartan' Gerard Butler (300)
Swank plays a grieving widower and decides to "stay at home till i grow old." She suddenly receives letters from her deceased husband (Butler) which contain tasks to help her recover and transition her life. Critics from Yahoo! Movies gave it a C-. but since i've watched the trailer and i'm a huge sucker for romantic-comedies, i can't wait to watch it!
2. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - starring my fave actor Johnny Depp (POTC trilogy), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange in HP and the Order of the Phoenix) and shockingly, Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Borat)
The story is about a grisly revenge by Benjamin Barker (Depp), a man unjustly imprisoned by a lecherous judge. He returns as barber Sweeney Todd and seeks revenge by gruesomely killing his "customers." Oooh, bloody! i think i will love this!
3. Step Up 2: The Streets - starring Robert Hoffman (the cry baby ex-bf of Viola in She's the Man) and newcomer Briana Evigan
Andie (Evigan), a rebellious street dancer, lands at the Maryland School of the Arts and finds trouble fitting in. And then she meets the popular and hot dancer Chase (Hoffman). They form a crew of classmate outcasts and join an underground dance battle The Street. I've watched the trailer and Channing Tatum would be appearing but I have no idea how long. Boo-hoo! I loved the first movie AND I have a strong feeling that we will all love this next one because I heard that the soundtrack's good and the dance moves are better.
4. 27 Dresses - starring the pretty girl Katherine Heigl (Izzie in Grey's Anatomy) and the owner of a mega-watt smile James Marsden (Cyclops in the X-Men trilogy)
The theme is "always a bride's maid, never the bride". Heigl plays Jane who's artistic and selfless and is secretly in love with her boss (Edward Burns). Her sister Tess (Malin Akerman) captures his heart instead and Jane re-examines her life. So where's Marsden in the movie? He's the guy whom she will eventually fall for. I love feel good movies. This is what Anna and I have been dying to watch since January but due to a busy sched, we couldn't find the time.
more movies:
1. The Bucket List (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) [I promise to watch this movie again because I didn't understand the story completely because my brothers were exchanging stories that time. I couldn't concentrate. But I did cry at the last part of the movie. If you want to find out why, watch it!]
2. Jumper (Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson) [The movie my friends and i watched on Valentine's. I was a bit disappointed with how the movie turned out but the whole teleportation made it interesting. Even more when I found out Hayden's starring it. It's good to see him on film again. There were some parts of the movie where the camera was shaky though. Nahilo kami ni Reina. haha.]
3. Disturbia (Shia LaBeouf) [There's more of a comedic-romantic element than suspense in this film. I kind of wished that they just removed the whole "killer" thing and focused on the Kale-Ashley relationship though. But I enjoyed the movie, anyway. :)]
eto na lang muna, for now. i'm hungry. and i have to review for my SOCIO and ACCTG quiz tomorrow. i am so hating school right now... :(

title: FROWN wins!
SMILE VS. FROWN
smile 1. tsikot for me and my brother soon. 2. post-valentine's kilig. :) 3. mama called.
frown 1. CWTS make-up class tomorrow. 2. won't be able to meet with papa on sunday because of GK visit. 3. ACCTG home work and quiz on monday. 4. marketing plan due on first week of march (haven't started yet!) 5. SOCIO video documentary due on feb. 29 (shoot tomorrow before make-up class) 6. STAT research paper due on first week of march 7. flash MX presentation for final exams in COMP LAB (on march)
i feel like i'm going to get sick. i slept early last night but i woke up late because i still feel tired. i don't think that staying up until 3 in the morning contributes a lot to getting good grades neither. this sucks big time!!!
Happy Gilmore won the golf tournament because he thought hard about his happy place and the pressure vanished instantly. my happy place would be a white sand beach with clear blue water. i would be sitting on a towel watching my brothers and sister building a huge sand castle while my parents are busy walking along the shores, hand in hand. i'm listening to sean kingston and drinking melon shake and eating pizza and shawarma and hershey's chocolates. my friends from all over the country (naks.) are on my right getting to know one another and having fun playing beach volleyball. on my left side, a pack of my crushes since kindergarten looking at me and making pa-cute. :P
oh my god, IT DOES TAKE OFF THE STRESS! :)

title: money makes MY world go 'round.
remember when i was whining about my problem with saving(and spending) money? well, i made a step to help me with my finances---i opened my own savings account!! wuhooo! *audience clap here* ang saya saya ko!! haha. wala lang. i was planning this since last year pa tapos kanina lang ako sinipag. i would like to thank the super kind bank teller of Banco De Oro-SM San Lazaro for assisting a first-timer like myself. i am so sorry i didn't get your name though. hehe. next time po ulit.
it feels so good. i feel like an adult already. haha. imagine, my OWN account. akin lang. sarap pakinggan. hahahahaha! :P i'm going a little cuckoo over here, i'm sorry. it kind of reminded me again that i'm independent na. the first time i realized it was when i moved to manila to start college. i had to make decisions on my own. i had to budget my weekly allowance. i practically looked after myself. now, i have a bank account (take note: a passbook with ATM). bonggang bongga! i would deposit money weekly or monthly then i'd continue doing it even when i'm 26. then i'd have probably P300,000-P1,000,000. tapos i could buy my own second-hand BMW convertible and rent an apartment and go shopping and do whatever i want. then there might be some money left to pay for a beach wedding and a nice white gown and great seafood for the reception. and i thought about all these just because of a savings account?? haha. they won't happen until 2016. that's a looong time pa. (talagang pinipilit ko na mangyayari yung mga imposible noh?)
cheers to the people who have no money in their pockets.... and to those whose wallets are bulky with cash!!

if you have read my previous blog post ("covergirl"), you didn't believe that i could actually buy a second-hand car with my magazines, did you? i don't own that many. hahahaha. you fooool!

title: cover girl.
i indulged myself with plenty of magazines today! i bought THREE back issues of Seventeen (US) and a july (?) 2007 Teen Vogue. it isn't something i'm really proud of because i hate it when i spend too much but still i buy stuff. but this one's for a good reason naman (that's what i think). if some people find scented candles or food tripping therapeutic, i find looking at clothes therapeutic! instead of window shopping however, which i have come to learn is a way of killing your feet, i just flip through the pages of the magazines.
i used to collect Candy since grade school but the very first one i bought was Seventeen with karen pamintuan on the cover. i used two layers of a book shelf to keep them organized. if i could sell them again for the same price i paid for, i bet i would be able to get myself a second-hand car! i stopped collecting during my third year in high school because, well, i forgot why. unfortunately, the obsession returned and it's killing my wallet! haha.

title: hotness. hmmm...
me, reina and ivy were shrieking like a bunch of high school girls who just saw their crush pass by the hallway. the reason: Stephen Colletti of MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real OC.
yes, that show is like a gazillion years old already but it wasn't until recently that we found ourselves glued on TV watching the two seasons of LB on DVD. the three of us saw an episode or two when we were still in high school. we didn't tune in though because we had no idea how fun the show really was. and then, we fell in love with the stick-thin, jet black-haired surfer slash skim boarder by day, hottie by night named Stephen.
haha. super fan ba?
the patting/rubbing on top of LC's and Kristin's head is a classic. me and reina were like, "Awwwww." then ivy goes, "Shiiiiiiiiit! Crush na crush ko talaga siyaaaaa! Sana may Stephen din sa UST. Hahanapin ko yun!" :P
no one can blame us, really. i mean, who wouldn't fall for a sweet guy like him? most girls would kill to be in either Lauren's or Kristin's shoes. i know the three of us lay-dehs would. *faints with hand on forehead*
