title: movies galore!
on my MUST-SEE list:
1. P.S. I Love You - starring the phenomenal Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) and the buffed 'Spartan' Gerard Butler (300)
Swank plays a grieving widower and decides to "stay at home till i grow old." She suddenly receives letters from her deceased husband (Butler) which contain tasks to help her recover and transition her life. Critics from Yahoo! Movies gave it a C-. but since i've watched the trailer and i'm a huge sucker for romantic-comedies, i can't wait to watch it!
 2. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - starring my fave actor Johnny Depp (POTC trilogy), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange in HP and the Order of the Phoenix) and shockingly, Sacha Baron Cohen (aka Borat)
The story is about a grisly revenge by Benjamin Barker (Depp), a man unjustly imprisoned by a lecherous judge. He returns as barber Sweeney Todd and seeks revenge by gruesomely killing his "customers." Oooh, bloody! i think i will love this!
3. Step Up 2: The Streets - starring Robert Hoffman (the cry baby ex-bf of Viola in She's the Man) and newcomer Briana Evigan
Andie (Evigan), a rebellious street dancer, lands at the Maryland School of the Arts and finds trouble fitting in. And then she meets the popular and hot dancer Chase (Hoffman). They form a crew of classmate outcasts and join an underground dance battle The Street. I've watched the trailer and Channing Tatum would be appearing but I have no idea how long. Boo-hoo! I loved the first movie AND I have a strong feeling that we will all love this next one because I heard that the soundtrack's good and the dance moves are better.
 4. 27 Dresses - starring the pretty girl Katherine Heigl (Izzie in Grey's Anatomy) and the owner of a mega-watt smile James Marsden (Cyclops in the X-Men trilogy)
The theme is "always a bride's maid, never the bride". Heigl plays Jane who's artistic and selfless and is secretly in love with her boss (Edward Burns). Her sister Tess (Malin Akerman) captures his heart instead and Jane re-examines her life. So where's Marsden in the movie? He's the guy whom she will eventually fall for. I love feel good movies. This is what Anna and I have been dying to watch since January but due to a busy sched, we couldn't find the time.
more movies:

1. The Bucket List (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) [I promise to watch this movie again because I didn't understand the story completely because my brothers were exchanging stories that time. I couldn't concentrate. But I did cry at the last part of the movie. If you want to find out why, watch it!]

2. Jumper (Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson) [The movie my friends and i watched on Valentine's. I was a bit disappointed with how the movie turned out but the whole teleportation made it interesting. Even more when I found out Hayden's starring it. It's good to see him on film again. There were some parts of the movie where the camera was shaky though. Nahilo kami ni Reina. haha.]

3. Disturbia (Shia LaBeouf) [There's more of a comedic-romantic element than suspense in this film. I kind of wished that they just removed the whole "killer" thing and focused on the Kale-Ashley relationship though. But I enjoyed the movie, anyway. :)]
eto na lang muna, for now. i'm hungry. and i have to review for my SOCIO and ACCTG quiz tomorrow. i am so hating school right now... :(
