title: A trip to the Eye Doctor.
My day started pretty well until I had my eyes checked. In the past days, I kept getting mild headaches because my vision of what's 10 meters away is a bit blurry. When I entered the clinic, the doctor was sitting in front of his laptop. He told me to sit down and asked what the problem was so I told him. Then after describing to him what was wrong, he said, "Ahhh. Teka lang ah." It didn't look like he was listening! I looked at him, then at his laptop, then at his cellphone. He was trying to transfer something using Bluetooth. Pfffft. After a minute or two, he asked me to tell him again the problem. While speaking, a familiar BUZZ interrupted me so I looked at his laptop again and saw that he was YM-ing someone. Sacre bleu! For a man in his mid-50's, this guy is technology updated. I was surprised in that way and in this way: ">:O". That smiley is supposed to look like he's irritatingly surprised. Uhhh, anyway, fast forward... After a couple of tests, he told me my eyesight was fine, that he didn't find anything wrong and that the blurriness was only subjective. From what I understood, he thought I was just making it up or that I was just imagining it or something close to that. But, hey, who am I to tell him he's wrong? It's not like I'm the doctor.
In a stupid way, I'm kind of bummed that I won't be sporting a pair of eyeglasses any time soon. Before the consultation, I was already planning what frame to choose, its color, etc. Haha. I forgot how things don't always come true when I imagine or plan them. Dammit! I should've thought of NOT wearing glasses instead so I WILL be wearing one. You get what I mean? Haha. But don't get me wrong, I am very very grateful that I have a perfect eyesight. Actually, I want to keep it that way until I grow old, if that's possible. The previous idea was, like I said, stupid.
Hey, on my way home, something really embarrassing and frustrating happened at the same time. I was in P. Noval and from afar I saw TG walking toward my way. (Damn, the doctor was right, my eyesight is perfectly fine.) So I crossed the street right away so I won't have to stare at his gorgeous eyes again. Hahaha. Apparently, he crossed the street the same moment I did and I tried to look away but those eyes were so magical, they made me look at them in an instant! Curse them! The embarrassing part is that he looked at me for a while, like he thinks I was someone familiar---someone he doesn't know but sees in school often. But the doctor may be right again. Maybe I was just imagining things. Haha!
I know this entry is soooo long but I just wanted to share a trivial realization. Last Sunday, during Mass, a tall man (I couldn't say 'guy' because Tall Guy is a proper noun, for me at least. Hehe.) was sitting several seats in front of us and at first I thought he was TG. But then he looked more like Mr. Stick-O. I'm not exactly sure because all I see was his back and his nape and his head and his ears and his gray shirt... *Dreamy*.. but not his face. Haha. I realized that TG and Stick-O are so much alike! I mean, both are tall, fair-complexioned, handsome (Yihee!) and basketball players. Sa face, there are other similarities. Basta! May hawig! I haven't found out who the guy was so I was juggling between TG and Stick-O. TG? Stick-O? TG? Stick-O? TG? Stick-O? It was a shame that I was thinking of that while the priest was delivering his sermon. Please, don't do the same thing. It's completely inappropriate and I'm sorry. So was it TG or Stick-O? I still DON'T KNOW!!!
OH, YUN LANG. TAPOS NA. Hahahahahaha! Completely insignificant. Tsk tsk. XD
